Chez Marie

We just happened upon Chez Marie as we were arriving in the area to check into our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a beautiful, smiling woman who was happy to seat us. She introduced herself as the owner and told us the story of her family owned business named for her grandmother. The cafe decor is bright and welcoming. The menu has everything you could want. The truffle eggs, crispy chicken, ham croque, lasagna, truffle ravioli and tiramisu were all so delicious. It was a pleasure to dine in such a beautiful cafe with such kind service.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Loved it so much we went two nights in a row! Great quality food & wine, amazing service, gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating. We had the onion soup, which was the best I had in Paris on this trip (I had at 3 different locations), the truffle ravioli, pasta Marie, and the beef bourguignon. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!

This is a truly wonderful place. The atmosphere is very warm and stylish. We have tried many dishes on the menu and every one of them was amazing. We are so impressed and will definitely come back next time we are in Paris. Thank you to everyone in the restaurant who made it such a pleasant experience for us!

Food was amazing, we had the salmon, burger and ham/cheese sandwich. Everything was amazing, service was a tad slow, but they only had two people working (both amazing!). We also had the creme brulee.

A great spot for tourists in this neighborhood. Lots of outdoor seating and adequate food options. We both had the house wine (one red and one white), with escargot to start. The wine was great for the price and escargot was perfect. For our mains I had the duck confit and my girlfriend had a salmon dish, which were also both excellent. The prices were a little high, and the service was a little slow, but overall we were happy with the experience!

I had dinner at Chez Marie and ordered the steak with fries, salad, and blue cheese sauce. The steak was tasty and cooked well, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The bread was excellent – I’ve always loved the baguette in Paris, and this one did not disappoint. However, the fries were clearly frozen and just average, and the blue cheese sauce was too watery for my taste, lacking the rich, creamy texture I was expecting. Overall, a decent meal with a friendly Montmartre vibe, but there’s definitely room for improvement on the sides and sauce.

Dinner at this restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay in Paris!!! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious (and worth the wait!) and atmosphere truly unique, making the evening very memorable. Even though it is mostly Italian cuisine, they do have French meals and provide a proper Parisian dream-like moment. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special.
